Actually, this comic would've made a lot more sense 1 year ago when my art bore a stronger resemblamce to Sluggy Freelance. I've made up a little image to illustrate my point better. This strip isn't so much funny as it is a little tribute to the first online comic I ever read, and the one that motivated me to start my own. As you can see, Thanatos was based off Torg's flat hair, and Duke was based on a mix of Dilbert and Riff. Particularly the sunglasses. Actually, I had envisioned him as being the crazy scientist type, but quickly changed my mind and made him the straight man. Indytoad left something in the new ad-free Forum, and got a special liquor filled cookie. A guy from Hoboken didn't and was hit by 20 cars and a septic tank cleaning truck all at once. Who do you want to be like? Indy, or the urine soaked pancake man from Hoboken?
