After acquanting the staff at Sydney baggage handling with some awesome new phrases I learned from an ex-sailor, I was reunited with my bags a few days later. Also I joined the dark side and bought a Macbook Pro because it was seriously a thousand dollars cheaper than Australia, even with the currency conversion.
