Pauline Hanson is/was a very racist Australian politician back in the 90s. She attempted to drag multiculturalism back by decades through ignorant policies (those foreigners are taking all our jobs!) and idiotic arguments (I know how to fix the economy! Print more money!) Among some of her more famous ideas, she wanted to bring back the 'White Australia policy' which was abolished in the early 20th century, which required any migrants to have a specific level of english understanding, which although seems fairly logical at first, the fact that she wouldn't pass her own test was quite irritating. She promoted hyper-xenophobic border patrol (ie; sealing off Australia from the rest of the world) and a whole myriad of idiocy which I don't want to get into right now. However, the rednecks loved her, and soon the One Nation (her political group) vote was quite strong, being carried by the massive number of right wing people who hate multiculturalism coming out of the woodwork. Of course, little did anyone know that John Howard would later use those same tactics on the poor people of the Tampa (look it up) in order to win the 2001 election. This comic was basically a year or two late (much like my AYB comic), but I still felt it needed to be done.On a side note; I can't draw hands on close ups.
